Voice Booster Headset Microphone

The microphone headset initially works well but there needs to be reinforcements at the wiring connection points so that the wires inside the cord do not get damaged so easily. I have to replace the headset every year because with time something breaks down at these connection points creating a lot of static coming out of the speaker that is hung from my shoulder while starting track meets.

A Solid (if Sensitive) Choice

After my old version of this from several years ago broke, I got it again from the same store. This newer version appears to be far more sensitive in terms of what it picks up. This actually works against me, as it frequently picks up items outside of my TK helmet despite a layer of tape between the microphone itself and the foam cover. Actual quality of the audio it records is very good, just need a way to dampen its activation a little and you are all set.
